Be sure to turn your sound up! I wrote "The Daily Challenge" with John Zimmerman (Project Manager) and Aaron Spaulding. It was commissioned by Carnegie Mellon for the Undergraduate Admissions webpage. At the time (late 1990s), Flash hadn't yet been released, and many folks were still using 56K dialup and 640x480 monitor resolution. Our goal was to create an introduction to CMU Student Life, in the form of a game, for prospective students. To minimize download time we managed to keep the Shockwave file size under 400K. This was quite an achievement, considering the complexity of the game. Because Carnegie Mellon's campus has changed drastically since then, The Daily Challenge is no longer relevant. It has long since been removed from the Admissions website.
