"The Black Cat" (the other "Eye") was directed by Dario Argento. ![]() From the hand of George Romero, a formative sketch of the effect in the final scene, when the metronome rises under the influence of the spirits of the undead, and plummets into the chest of the sleeping Dr. Hoffman. ![]() The finished obelisk. I designed the shell and created the internal electronics. The case was flawlessly constructed out of MDF by Mike Richer and expertly painted by Head Scenic Eileen Garrigan. ![]() A polaroid taken at a test of the falling obelisk.
